Speedway Motorsports Inc.’s overall revenue declined by 9.9 percent in 2009, including a 13.3 percent drop in ticket revenue, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

For the first time this year, a NASCAR Sprint Cup race showed improvement in Fox’s overnight ratings as the Kobalt Tools 500 on Sunday from Atlanta Motor Speedway earned a 4.8 rating – a 2.1 percent increase from the 4.7 from a year ago, the SportsBusiness Daily reported.
